Endocrine disease evaluation is generally done in conjunction with the primary care veterinarian. It is meant to be more of a consultation regarding lab work and treatment recommendations
Includes:
- Examination of the horse to identify risk factors
- Review of relevant history and prior endocrine lab work
- Recommendations on further diagnostic testing
- Plan for treatment and management of endocrine abnormalities
